This 4-day, 3-night retreat takes place in the quiet nature of the Uckermark, about 1.5 hours outside of Berlin — a simple, peaceful setting to reset and recharge.

Open space, fresh air, and time that isn’t tightly planned. A place to step out of your usual rhythm — to move a little, rest more, be outside, read, sit in the sauna, or go for long nature walks.

There’s no pressure to do anything — just space to find your own rhythm again.

About the retreat

The retreat is not about doing more. It is about creating the conditions where the body can settle and the nervous system can soften.

Our program includes daily yoga classes, chanting and sound, yoga philosophy as well as restorative practices, all centered on being within; grounding and embracing slowness.

Over four days we slow the pace, simplify the schedule and focus on what truly supports well-being. Through gentle Jivamukti yoga classes in the morning, cleansing kriyas, wholesome, nourishing food prepared by Caro Gante and time in nature, we create space to rest, reconnect, and find community — without pressure or expectations.

Gather with us around cozy fireplaces, open your heart, and immerse yourself in this grounding experience.

Our program includes:

  • Daily Jivamukti Yoga Classes: Focused on grounding poses and sequences to strengthen your connection to the earth.

  • Mindfulness Meditation: Techniques for relaxation and cultivate inner peace and clarity.

  • Cleansing Kriyas: Learn and practice traditional cleansing techniques that purify the internal body and restart the system. 

  • Pranayama: Complementary breath work sessions focused on enhancing the effects of kriyas, along with breath work to support detoxification.

  • Nature Walks: Gentle walks in the beautiful countryside to deepen your connection with nature.

  • Restorative Practices: Yin yoga and deep relaxation sessions to help you unwind and release tension in the afternoon.

  • Wholesome Nutrition: Enjoy locally sourced and seasonal meals prepared by Mélanie Wehrli, designed to support the grounding process and nurture your body (light breakfast, extensive brunch and dinner, afternoon snack).

About the LOCATION

Gutshaus Friedenfelde — an 18th century manor house in the small village of Friedenfelde, sustainably restored and surrounded by fruit trees and woodland. Four apartments with a mix of modern art, vintage furniture and original details. Shared kitchen, library, dining room with fireplace, two lounges, and a dedicated yoga space.

BY CAR

From Berlin via A11 towards Prenzlau — approx. 1 to 1.5 hours from Berlin. We'll connect you with other participants for carpooling. Free parking on site.

BY TRAIN

RE3 from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Wilmersdorf / Angermünde — approx. 1.5 to 2 hours. Taxi or carpool pickup from the station can be arranged.

SCHEDULE

Opening & Closing ceremonies

Daily Jivamukti yoga classes including meditation, chanting, pranayama and yoga philosphy 

Mornings will begin with chanting, pranayama and meditation followed by asana practice

Pre practice: there will be tea, juice and seasonale fruits available 

Post practice a delicious brunch will be served

After brunch we will have free time to relax, enjoy our cozy fire places, take a walk in nature, sleep or jump into the sauna

A light afternoon snack will be offered around 3pm

Late afternoons we will focus on restorative practices — allowing the body to rest and restore, integrating the morning movements

Dinner will be served around 7pm

About ROWENA

Rowena is an 800hr advanced certified Jivamukti teacher and 200 & 300hr Ashtanga-Vinyasa teacher trainer, based in Berlin. She has been practicing since 2008 — what started as something physical slowly became a much deeper inquiry into body, mind and movement. She completed her first 200hr training in India in 2016 and has since taught across the UK, Central and South America. Her classes are strong and purposeful, woven with personal insight, spoken word and music — and tend to stay with you well after you've left the mat.

About Viktoria 

Viktoria is an 800hr certified Jivamukti teacher and the founder of Sukha.

Based in Berlin, she has spent the last decade working in commercial photo and film production alongside a deepening yoga practice — and built Sukha out of wanting to combine both properly. Her teaching focus sits at the intersection of movement, women's health, and the transitions that come with it. On the mat, she brings steadiness and intention — the things the practice gave her first.

About MéLANIE

Mélanie is a self-taught chef with a background in fashion design — which shows in the way she approaches a plate. She cooks seasonal, locally sourced food with an instinctive eye for colour, texture and flavour, guided by the belief that how food looks and smells is part of how it nourishes. Her meals at Sukha retreats are wholesome, considered, and always made with care.

A non-refundable 350€ deposit is required to confirm your spot.

Getting to and back to our retreat location will be at your own expenses. Same as your travel insurance.
